Reinaldo Ferraz

Web Development Specialist

Reinaldo Ferraz is a seasoned professional in web accessibility and digital inclusion, currently serving as a Project Manager at NIC.br since December 2019, where significant contributions include the creation of the Web Accessibility Guide and the official translation of WCAG 2. Reinaldo has been a Web Development Specialist at the W3C Brazil Office since June 2011, authoring key resources on web accessibility and leading initiatives to enhance accessibility awareness. As the national chairperson of ABNT/CB-040/CE 040 000 004 since April 2020, Reinaldo has coordinated efforts to establish the NBR 17060 standard for mobile applications. Additionally, Reinaldo teaches a course on Accessible Interfaces at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and has authored a book on web accessibility. Previous roles include work as a Webmaster at NIC.br and positions in design and web development with Logic Way and AllWays. Reinaldo holds a master's degree in Hypermedia Design and a bachelor's degree in Design from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi.
