Shinya Takami is a seasoned professional in digital publishing technology, currently serving as Technical Director of DX strategy at KADOKAWA Corporation since June 2021. Takami holds the position of Director (CTO) at PUBLUS Corporation and Co-Chair of both the Publishing Maintenance Working Group and EPUB 3 Working Group at W3C since August 2020. As a Senior Researcher at Keio Research Institute at SFC since April 2017, Takami contributes to advancements in the field. Previously, Takami was Chief Architect and General Manager at BOOKWALKER and played a crucial role in the startup of eBook and eMagazine businesses at Rakuten and NTT docomo. Takami earned a Ph.D. in Informatics from Kyoto University between 1997 and 2008.
