Steven Faulkner

Steven Faulkner is a seasoned professional in web accessibility with extensive experience in various roles. Currently, Steven serves as the Director at TetraLogical since November 2023. At W3C since 2007, Steven has held several influential positions, including Editor of the "Using ARIA" document, Editor of the ARIA in HTML specification, and co-editor of the HTML 5.2 specification. Steven has also contributed as a member of the Protocols and Formats Working Group and the HTML Working Group. Previously, Steven was the Chief Accessibility Officer and Technical Director at TPGi, focusing on making technology accessible to all. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Web Accessibility Consultant at Vision Australia. Steven's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science from Swinburne University of Technology.
