Jeff Schmidt

Jeff Schmidt is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in database administration and engineering. Currently serving as Director of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and previously holding various roles including Manager of Database Engineering and Senior Database Administrator at WebPT since March 2019, Jeff has demonstrated leadership in optimizing database environments. Co-owning Sherwood Adventure since October 2016, Jeff contributed to launching innovative mobile entertainment attractions. Prior positions include Senior DBA at International Cruise & Excursions, Inc., where significant server upgrades and performance tuning were accomplished, and multiple roles involving management and maintenance of SQL server environments at organizations like Mutual of Omaha and Wells Fargo. Jeff began the career in database development, initially at WorldCom and further developing expertise through ongoing education, including participation in SQL Saturday events.
