Justin Smith

Justin Smith, Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist and technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning, natural language processing, and community development. Currently serving as Senior Data Scientist at WebPT, Justin develops machine learning models for clinical outcomes and oversees AI architecture for complex systems. Previous roles include Senior Engineer and Data Scientist at Keet Health, Chief Technology Officer and Principal NLP Engineer at CHA1NT3CH Corp, and Assistant Professor at Washington State University, where Justin founded the Community Intelligence Lab and led various data-driven initiatives. Justin also has experience in research positions at Cornell University and Illionix, LLC, and has held managerial roles in operations and web development. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences from Washington State University, alongside an MA in International Relations and a BA in Liberal Arts with a focus on Information Technology and Social Change.
