Lauri Siponen

Lauri Siponen has over 23 years of work experience in various roles in the IT industry. Lauri'scurrent position is as a Cloud Architect at Webscale Oy, starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Distence Ltd for almost seven years, from May 2015 to January 2022, as a System Architect. Before that, they worked as a Software Architect at Cybercom Group: Cybercom Finland from May 2014 to May 2015. Lauri also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Preato Alpha Oy from April 2010 to May 2014, and as a Product Engineering Manager at Rahaxi Processing from September 2005 to April 2010. Lauri started their career at Akumiitti in June 1999, where they held various roles including Quality Assurance Manager from November 2001 to August 2005, and Senior Software Engineer from June 1999 to October 2001.

Lauri Siponen obtained a Master of Science degree in Knowledge Engineering and Information Technology in Production from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Additionally, Lauri has earned several certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). These include the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services obtained in December 2022, the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification obtained in 2018, and the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification obtained in March 2018.
