Ron Benson

Ron Benson has over three decades of experience in infrastructure services, primarily in the banking and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Director-Infrastructure Service Owner at Webster Bank since August 2014, Ron has held several key roles, including VP-Infra Service Owner for Data Center, Compute & Storage. Prior experience includes positions at The Hartford from January 1984 to August 2014, where Ron progressed from Assistant Director in Server Engineering and Architecture to Senior Analyst-Ops Infrastructure and Senior Infrastructure Architect, effectively managing server support teams and guiding architecture to meet application needs while implementing virtualization technologies. Ron's foundational education includes time spent in the U.S. Navy, specializing in Personnel Administration.
