Sonya Moore

Sonya Moore is a skilled content acquisition professional with extensive experience in content localization and translation. Currently serving as the Content Acquisition Manager at WEBTOON since December 2020, Sonya oversees the content review process and manages the localized content library, focusing on performance trends in both Korea and the US. Previously, Sonya held roles as a Content Acquisition Specialist and In-House Translator at WEBTOON. With a freelance background in translation and consulting, notable projects include working on the PBS documentary “Korea: The Never-Ending War.” Earlier career experiences include senior editorial roles at Nation's Restaurant News and positions at Editor & Publisher and PC Magazine. Sonya holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University and completed further studies at Columbia University.
