Damian Copeland

Damian Copeland is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and technical services, currently serving as Group Chief Operations Officer at Connect since June 2020, where responsibilities include leading operational strategy and service delivery. Prior to this role, Damian held various leadership positions at ICR Speech Solutions & Services Ltd from July 1999 to April 2023, focusing on projects and speech interaction, and contributing to the development of IVR and speech applications for diverse sectors. Additionally, experience as an Associate Lecturer at Open University involved teaching interaction design principles, while an earlier role at Admiral Computing Ltd encompassed multimedia training and e-learning development for notable clients. Damian holds a PhD in Interaction Design from Leeds Beckett University and an MSc in Computing for Commerce & Industry from The Open University.
