Mark Sandeford

Mark Sandeford has a comprehensive work experience in the finance industry. Mark began their career in 1986 as an Equity Trader at BZW (Barclays de Zoete Wedd) and later worked as a Vice President at Salomon Brothers. In 1996, they joined Credit Suisse as an MD - Asian Equity Trading and remained with the company until 2008. After that, they worked as a Portfolio Trader at CQS from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2014, Mark served as a Managing Director - Asian Equities at Barclays Investment Bank. In 2015, they became the Head of Global Sales at WeConvene, a position they held until joining CLSA (UK) as an Equities Trader in 2018. Throughout their career, Mark has gained extensive experience in equity trading and sales, with a focus on the Asian market.

Mark Sandeford attended Borden Grammar School in Sittingbourne from 1975 to 1980, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering. Mark then went on to Newcastle University from 1981 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in the same field of study.
