CEO at Wedge

Matt Baxter began their professional career in 2009 when they became the Owner and Member of Stony Pointe Lawn Care. At fifteen years old, they established the business and was able to double its revenue and clients annually in six years of ownership. Matt supervised five part-time and two full-time employees, managing daily sales, marketing and accounting functions. Matt had 55 customer accounts, 35 of which were residential and 20 commercial, on a weekly basis. In July of 2015, they sold the thriving business.

In 2015, Matt Baxter became the CEO of Wedge, a company that allows employers to attract, pitch and fast-track the most passionate applicants with video.

Most recently, in 2021, Matt Baxter became the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Center for Economic Innovation.

Matt Baxter attended Hope College, where they earned a degree in Management (Major) with Economics (Minor) and Leadership (Minor). Their field of study was Economics and Management.
