Jorge Documet

Jorge Documet has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Jorge is currently a Senior Software Engineer at WeeCare, where they started in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Technology Operations at Vestiaire Collective from 2022 to 2023.

From 2015 to 2022, Jorge worked at Tradesy, initially as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioning to roles such as Technology Lead, Engineering Manager, and Software Engineering Architect. During their time at Tradesy, they led a team of DevOps engineers and was involved in migrating to Kubernetes for different environments.

Before Tradesy, Jorge worked as a Software Engineer at MedQIA from 2013 to 2015 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Zynx Health from 2012 to 2013.

Jorge Documet completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de Lima / University of Lima from 1996 to 2000. Jorge further pursued their studies at the University of Southern California, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science between 2003 and 2006. Subsequently, Jorge completed their education journey at the University of Southern California, obtaining a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering, which they pursued from 2003 to 2009.
