Robert Jonsson

Robert Jonsson is a seasoned product developer with extensive experience in the denim industry. Currently at Weekday since November 2023, Robert leads strategic sourcing and development, focusing on new fibers, fabrics, and label and trim development. As the founder of Current Standard since September 2021, Robert provides creative consulting for denim brands and suppliers, overseeing complete product development including marketing strategy. Prior experience at H&M from February 2008 to August 2021 includes roles ranging from product designer to global product developer, managing denim strategy and supplier development across Asia, conducting trend research, and ensuring production capacity. Robert's career commenced at JC Jeans Company, where responsibilities included managing sales, budgeting, and buying for external denim brands.
