Matthew Cushen has a diverse range of work experience. Matthew is currently the Managing Partner at Worth Capital, a venture capital company that invests in and supports businesses with the potential to build popular consumer or B2B brands. Matthew is also the Founder of Uprising Limited, where they help leadership teams of large businesses to foster innovation and solve entrenched problems. Matthew has experience working with leadership teams of major UK and global retailers such as IKEA and Waitrose.

In addition, Matthew serves as an Advisory Board member at Agile Retail, where they leverage their retail experience to help refine their proposition and build their customer base. Matthew also holds the role of Investor Director at UniZest, ONEɆ, Bird Eyewear, Weekly10, VeeLoop, and Bedfolk, representing investors in the Start-Up Series Fund and supporting the rapid growth of these companies in various industries such as banking, clothing manufacturing, eyewear, employee engagement software, online approval and payment service, and bedding retail. Matthew Cushen attended Churston Grammar School from 1983 to 1987, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Matthew then went on to Kingston University from 1988 to 1992, where they completed a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies.
