Matthew Sheen is a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University, specializing in Dynamics and Controls through the Biorobotics and Locomotion Lab under the guidance of an advisor. Currently, Matthew works at Weel Autonomy, focusing on building electric vehicles that resemble bikes. Previous experience includes a dynamics and simulation internship at Toyota Research Institute, facilitating robot arm manipulation projects, and leadership roles at Clemson University, where Matthew spearheaded a 3D Printing Initiative and provided extensive tutoring support. Additional internships involved vehicle research and development at Textron, process controls at Savannah River Remediation, and research at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
