The name Weeroona was chosen from Indigenous language and means ‘Resting Place’ to reflect a place where people with disability and their families can come and take a breath and receive support.

Weeroona is a not for profit local community organisation registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and accredited against their standards. Weeroona is also registered as a charity. 

Weeroona provides Individual support – 1:1 or 1:2 to people with disabilities of all ages and types of disabilities.

Weeroona provides Support along with brokerage to individuals and their families in the Gympie Region.
