Allyson Downey

Allyson Downey has a diverse work experience. Currently, they serve as a Co-Founder at Meta Angels. In the past, they were the CEO of Stellar Reviews, where they focused on matching reviewers with products they would love and placing their authentic feedback on retailer sites for maximum impact. Allyson also held the position of Board Member at Tot Squad and Advisor at Trust & Will. Additionally, they worked as a Mentor at Techstars and wrote a book titled "Here's the Plan: Your Practical Tactical Guide to Advancing Your Career During Pregnancy" while working as an Author at Hachette Book Group. Before that, they were the CEO and founder of weeSpring, a platform connecting parents through product recommendations. Allyson also served as Executive Director at New Leaders and worked in Private Banking at Credit Suisse. Earlier in their career, Allyson was a Managing Director at Spitzer 2010, where they led a team and managed various aspects of a political organization.

Allyson Downey completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Colby College between 1997 and 2001. Allyson pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Writing from Columbia University from 2001 to 2003. Subsequently, they attended Columbia Business School from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
