Bea Katona

Bea Katona has extensive experience in risk management, with a focus on the insurance industry. Bea is currently working as a Senior Risk Manager at wefox since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Risk Management at Liechtenstein Life Assurance AG from February 2020 to June 2021. Bea also served as a Risk Manager at the same company from February 2016 to February 2020.

Before their role at Liechtenstein Life Assurance AG, Bea worked at PrismaLife AG as a Risk Management & Solvency II Team Leader from January 2015 to January 2016, and as a Risk Manager from March 2012 to January 2015. Bea also worked as a financial analyst at Wealth-Assurance AG for a brief period in January to March 2012.

Bea's earlier experience includes working as a Betriebswirtschafterin at FMA - Financial Market Authority Liechtenstein from June 2011 to December 2011, and as a Risk Manager - Solvency II at Generali-Providencia Ltd. from October 2008 to June 2011.

Bea began their professional career as a Business Development Manager at MKB Bank Ltd. in August 2007 and continued in this role until October 2008.

Bea Katona attended Corvinus University of Budapest from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Master's degree in Investment Analysis and Risk Management.
