Ellen B.

Ellen B. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ellen is currently working at wefox as the Insurance Product & Controlling Lead for the German market since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Munich Re (Group) as a Portfolio Manager for the German insurance book from July 2021 to August 2022. Ellen also has experience as a Consultant Non-Life Reserving at Munich Re (Group) from July 2019 to June 2021, and as a Non-Life Actuarial Consultant at Deloitte Deutschland from November 2018 to June 2019. Ellen has worked at Munich Re (Group) in various roles including P&C Analytics Working Student at Capital Partners from May 2018 to September 2018, and P&C Actuarial Intern and Working Student at Central Reserving from March 2017 to May 2018. Ellen started their career as a P&C Risk Intern at Group Risk in Allianz Group from January 2016 to July 2016, and as an L&H Actuarial Intern at France Actuarial from June 2015 to December 2015. Ellen also had a Business Intelligence Internship at Publicis Groupe in 2013.

Ellen B. has a diverse education history. Ellen obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematics with a focus on Actuarial Science and Decision Theory from the Technical University of Munich, attending from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their 3rd Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics with a track in Economics, Finance, and Actuarial Science at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, from 2014 to 2015. In 2014, Ellen also participated in a Summer School program at Copenhagen Business School, studying Econometrics and Management Accounting. Earlier in their academic journey, they pursued their 1st and 2nd Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Social Science from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, attending from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Ellen holds a certification in Introduction to Cloud Computing, which they obtained from Coursera in February 2021.
