Mzhar Ali

Mzhar Ali has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence. Mzhar started their career at Teradata as a Professional Services Consultant from August 2012 to April 2013. Mzhar then worked as a Business Intelligence Developer at Ovex Technologies Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. from May 2013 to November 2013. After that, they joined (MTBC) NASDAQ Listed as a Business Intelligence Developer from December 2013 to June 2015. During this time, they were responsible for developing the MTBC Healthcare data warehouse and creating adhoc and standard reports using Microsoft SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS/Power BI.

In 2015, they returned to Ovex Technologies Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. as a Senior Data Engineer, where they worked until October 2017. In this role, they were responsible for ad-hoc reporting, BI report designing, database development, data migration, maintenance, administration, and SSIS ETL package designing.

From October 2017 to October 2018, Mzhar Ali worked as a Sr.DBA Consultant at Ciklum. Mzhar was involved in ad-hoc reporting, BI report designing and development, database mapping, migration, administration, optimization, and reshaping business requirements into data pipelines.

Mzhar then joined FraudLens as a Senior Data Engineer (SQL/BI) from October 2018 to September 2020. Their responsibilities included writing and maintaining ETL code, developing complex database algorithms for fraud detection in Health Insurance data, coordinating with customers and Business Analysts for data reporting and analysis requirements, and providing production support, query optimization, adhoc reporting, and day-to-day database administration.

Most recently, Mzhar Ali started working at Zong CMPak Ltd in September 2020 as an Executive IT Data Management & Data Science. Mzhar held this position until April 2022, where they were involved in data management and data science activities.

Currently, they are a Data Engineer at wefox since April 2022.

Mzhar Ali completed their Master of Information Technology degree with a specialization in Data Engineering at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they obtained the Power BI Top Skills certification from LinkedIn in January 2020.
