Laurence Cymet

Laurence Cymet has a diverse work experience in the computer graphics industry spanning over two decades. Laurence held roles such as Head of Technology at WEFX, Instructor at Centennial College, and Co-Founder of CG Connect Toronto. Laurence also worked as a CG Supervisor at Folks VFX and as a Product Manager at Autodesk, where they were responsible for various product lines including Maya and motion graphics. Additionally, Laurence has experience as a Supervisor and VFX Artist at companies like Soho VFX and Nelvana, and they served as a CG Supervisor and VFX Supervisor at Optix Digital Pictures. Throughout their career, Laurence has demonstrated strong leadership skills, customer focus, and a wealth of technical expertise in the field of computer graphics.

Laurence Cymet holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History from the University of Toronto. Additionally, Laurence has obtained diplomas from Sheridan College in Visual Effects, Computer Animation, and Fine Art. Laurence also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2012.
