Edgar Marquez

Edgar Marquez is a seasoned Controls Design Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at WEG since August 2017. Prior to this role, Edgar worked at CG POWER SYSTEMS USA, Hyundai Power Transformers USA, and Virginia Transformer Corp Chihuahua, where expertise in automation through Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and maintenance of drives, motors, and pumps was developed. Edgar began the career as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Papelera de Chihuahua and gained valuable experience as an Electronic Technician at SMTC, focusing on the repair and analysis of electronic boards. Edgar holds a degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Instrumentation and Control from Instituto Tecnológico de Chihuahua, obtained in 2007.
