Eric Patel

Eric has 30 years of business experience, having worked with companies ranging from Fortune 500 conglomerates to start-ups in the US, Europe, and Canada. Eric came to Vancouver from the San Francisco Bay Area as CFO, to help turn around the world’s leading business intelligence reporting software company, Crystal Decisions, now owned by SAP. His prior experience spans the retail, consumer products, food, and banking industries.

In addition to Galvanize, Eric serves on the Boards of Ritchie Bros Auctioneers (NYSE, TSX) and Daiya Foods. His outside passions include beekeeping and trying to launch a sustainable salmon aquaculture industry in BC.

Eric holds an MBA from Stanford University and BA from Brown University.
