LJ Phua

LJ Phua has a diverse work experience beginning in 2011 as a Military Expert in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Following this, they worked as an Associate Engineer at ST Engineering from November 2016 to December 2017. LJ then transitioned to the role of Instructional Associate at General Assembly from November 2018 to March 2019. They continued their career as a Software Developer at StaffonDemand Singapore from March 2019 to December 2020. LJ then joined Wego.com in 2021, starting as a Junior Software Engineer from March 2021 to July 2021, followed by the role of Software Engineer II from July 2021 to January 2022. Afterward, LJ joined Hodlnaut as a Software Engineer from January 2022 to August 2022. Currently, LJ is at Wego.com, where they hold the positions of Senior Software Engineer since October 2022 and Team Lead (AI) since April 2023.

LJ Phua has a comprehensive education history in the field of technology. LJ Phua obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In 2018, LJ Phua furthered their education in web development by completing the Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly. Additionally, in the same year, LJ Phua pursued computer science studies at 42 Silicon Valley. Aside from their formal education, LJ Phua obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in April 2021.
