Caio Sagae

Caio Sagae currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at WEHANDLE since February 2024. Prior to this role, Caio held multiple significant positions at iFood from September 2018 to December 2023, including Director of Operations, Product and Experience at iFood Benefícios, and Head of Logistics Operations/Business Models. Caio also served as Operations Director at Rappi in 2018, overseeing delivery and driver operations in Brazil. Earlier experience includes New Business Director at enjoei.com, where responsibility for launching Enjoei Pro was undertaken, and Co-Founder & COO of Retroca, a marketplace for pre-owned children's clothing, acquired by Enjoei. Initial career stages included roles as an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS and M&A Intern at Standard Bank. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from USP and participation in an exchange program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with executive education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
