Jeffrey Wei

Jeffrey Wei has extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Jeffrey is currently the Managing Partner at Wei Capital Management, LLC, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to this, in 2013, they co-founded Wei Institute, Inc., an organization focused on natural wellness care for chronic lung diseases. Jeffrey also founded famousdoctor.org in 2011, which aimed to highlight advancements in medical clinics. Mr. Wei is also the Founder and CEO of Wei Laboratories, Inc., a company they established in 2002. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, they served as the CEO of Uhere Corporation, Inc. from 1999 to 2000. Their earlier experiences include roles as a Product Manager at Infoseek, a Product Manager at Disney Interactive Group, and a Business Development Manager at Applied Materials. Jeffrey also worked as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and as a Staff member at Harvard Medical School.

Jeffrey Wei has an extensive education history. Jeffrey obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China, graduating in 1983. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Biophysics at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, from 1983 to 1986. In 1987, they studied Chemistry at Brigham Young University for a year. Jeffrey then moved on to the University of Minnesota, where they completed their Ph.D. in Biochemistry from 1988 to 1992. Lastly, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management from 1995 to 1997, earning an MBA.
