Yining Wang

Yining Wang's work experience begins with a role as a Vice President at the Language Exchange Initiative from September 2015 to May 2016. They then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and completed an Honors Thesis at the University of Toronto from December 2015 to June 2017. Yining went on to work as a Geosciences Intern at Freeport-McMoRan from May 2018 to August 2018. They later became a Research/Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2017 to May 2019. Yining also had a brief internship as a Data Analyst Intern at EDGE10 Group from May 2019 to June 2019. They then attended the Flatiron School as a Software Engineering Student from October 2019 to February 2020. Yining gained experience as an IT Volunteer at Austin Pets Alive! from November 2019 to March 2020. They worked as a Full Stack Software Developer at Cloud5innovation from March 2020 to May 2020. Yining then joined Bonterra as an Associate Software Engineer from May 2020 to May 2022. Lastly, Yining is currently employed as a Software Engineer at WeInfuse since October 2022.

Yining Wang earned a Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction in Geosciences with a focus on Physical Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. They then pursued a Master of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at The University of Texas at Austin from 2017 to 2019.
