Beth Freeman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Beth is currently working as the Associate Director, Philanthropy at Weizmann Canada since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Development Manager Western Canada at the same organization from September 2020 to May 2022.
Before joining Weizmann Canada, Beth served as the Associate Director Of Development at JCC of Greater Vancouver from August 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they worked closely with volunteers and staff to develop and implement fundraising strategies for various programs, including the annual giving campaign and major gifts. Beth successfully tripled the sales of the JCC Sports Dinner sponsorship program over a three-year period.
From August 2016 to August 2018, Beth worked as the Development Manager at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver. Here, they oversaw all aspects of fundraising, including annual campaigns, events, and major gifts. Beth played a crucial role in producing the JCC Sports Dinner, which experienced remarkable growth, raising over 1 million dollars in 2018.
Beth also has experience in the entertainment industry. Beth worked as a Producer & Director at Mountain Story from January 2014 to January 2017. Beth created and produced an interview event series and produced a short documentary based on the interviews with notable personalities.
Furthermore, Beth worked as a Director & Producer for BFIdeas Productions Inc. from December 2006 to April 2016. Beth directed and produced a television documentary called "SISTERS IN ARMS" that highlighted the stories of remarkable women in the military.

Beth Freeman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Western University. In 2013, they also attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where they studied Fundraising - Major Gifts & Capital Campaigns, Grant & Proposal Writing.
