Alex Goltman

Alex Goltman is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership. Currently serving as Software Team Leader at WekaIO since January 2015, Alex oversees a team focused on client and frontend filesystem interfaces, including the development of a Linux driver and NFS server. Previously, Alex contributed as a Software Engineer at WekaIO by implementing the Raft consensus algorithm and engaging in distributed systems. Alex's early career includes a software engineering internship at Facebook on the HBase development team, part-time work at Elbit Systems Ltd on a persistent video surveillance project, and a role in Software R&D for the IDF focusing on low-level C/Assembly systems. Academically, Alex holds a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a B.Sc in Computer Science from The Open University.
