Dane Pitkin is an experienced software engineer and manager with a focus on large distributed data platforms. Currently, Dane serves as a Senior Software Engineer at WEKA and is a committer for the Apache Arrow and Apache Software Foundation projects. Previously, as an Engineering Manager at Voltron Data, Dane managed teams working on a GPU query engine for petabyte-scale ETL and contributed actively to the Apache Arrow project.
