Luis Ospina

Luis Ospina has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Luis started their career as an Aprendiz de Telecomunicaciones at ITS InfoCom in 2013, where they assisted in support activities and processed data for periodic reports. Luis then joined Axtrac S.A.S as a Líder de Proyecto in 2013 and was responsible for managing resources to achieve desired results in terms of Telephony IP solutions and implementation. In 2014, they worked independently as an Ingeniero Asterisk, focused on developing communication solutions for clients and successfully implementing high-quality call centers.

From 2015 to 2017, Luis worked as an Ingeniero RF at Applus Norcontrol, where they configured mobile network devices and stations for the TIGO mobile operator. Luis then returned to Axtrac S.A.S as a Gerente de Proyecto from 2016 to 2018, overseeing project management.

In 2019, Luis joined Fastco Colombia as a Responsable de equipo de TI, responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining information technology services. Currently, they are working at WeKall as a Level 2 Engineer Specialist, responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining IT services, including network support, server administration and maintenance, and project execution related to networks and telephony IP.

Throughout their career, Luis has acquired a strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, telephony, and network support. Luis has extensive experience in Asterisk, Linux, and IP Telephony systems. Their skills also include configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, and troubleshooting in VoIP.

Luis Ospina started their education journey in 2008 at the Universidad de San Buenaventura, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering of Telecommunications. Luis successfully completed their degree in 2014. Afterward, from 2014 to 2016, Luis furthered their education at the same institution and pursued a specialization in Business Telecommunications, with a focus on Telecommunications Engineering. In November 2010, they obtained a certification in Structured Cabling and Optical Fiber from INTECAP.
