Melissa Heard

Melissa Heard currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Women in Leadership Certificate Program at Valparaiso University. With over a decade of experience, Melissa has held the position of Director of Marketing at Weldcoa since February 2012, overseeing all aspects of marketing strategy, brand development, and customer engagement. Additionally, Melissa is an active member of the Young & Emerging Professionals Committee at the Compressed Gas Association and the Women of Gases and Welding Committee at GAWDA, both of which focus on supporting the next generation of leaders and fostering diversity in their respective industries. Prior to these roles, Melissa worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Sellstrom MFG and gained early experience at JCPenney as a Photographer and Sales Associate. Melissa holds a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Visual Communications/Graphic Design from Judson University.
