Ariel Benjamin

Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President of WeLink Cities at WeLink

Ariel Benjamin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2011, they worked as a Research Intern at the Regional Plan Association. From 2012 to 2013, Ariel interned at the Metro-North Railroad in the Capital Planning and Programming department. They then joined the City of Stamford Planning & Zoning Department as an Intern from 2007 to 2010. In 2014, Ariel started working at HR&A Advisors as a Research Analyst and progressed to become a Senior Analyst and eventually a Director. During their time at HR&A Advisors, Ariel managed significant projects such as the NYC Broadband Plan. In 2020, they co-founded the Broadband Equity Partnership and held the position of Co-Founder until 2022. Currently, Ariel is serving as the Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President of WeLink Cities.

Ariel Benjamin attended Cornell University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning.
