Ali Sidwell

Ali Sidwell has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies.

From 2022 to the present, Ali worked as a Marketing Communications Consultant at American Enterprise Group, Inc.

Prior to that, from 2016 to 2022, Ali held multiple positions at Iowa Workforce Development. They started as a Business Marketing Specialist, facilitating partnerships between employers and Iowa Workforce Development. Later, Ali became an Operations Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations and staff of an American Job Center. Their responsibilities included managing budgets and implementing operating procedures for various grant/system sources. Lastly, Ali served as the Bureau Chief PROMISE JOBS | WIOA Title III, where they collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to enhance agency programming and managed federal workforce programs.

Before joining Iowa Workforce Development, Ali worked for the State of Iowa - Executive Branch from 2014 to 2016. In this role as an Income Maintenance Trainer, they were responsible for policy training, conducting case reads for program accuracy, and developing a standardized training plan for new workers.

Ali Sidwell received their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Colorado Denver in 2007.
