Mary Young

Mary Young has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Mary is currently serving as the VP of Client Relations at Welland since February 2022. Prior to this, Mary worked at Welland Company as the Director of Client Relations from January 2017 to February 2022. Before joining Welland Company, they held the position of Senior Consultant at the same company from January 2015 to January 2017.

Before their time at Welland, Mary worked as the Corporate Controller at ITG Communications, LLC from March 2014 to January 2015. Mary'sresponsibilities included managing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations for the company.

From November 2012 to March 2014, they worked as the Controller at Express Courier. In this role, they managed the finance operations and served as the financial liaison to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

Mary's previous experiences include working as an Accounting Consultant at Caterpillar Financial from April 2011 to October 2012, as the Director of Accounting at Alliance Building Services from February 2009 to March 2011, and as the Controller at Wood Group from April 2007 to December 2008.

Mary started their career as an Accounting Supervisor at Citi in April 2001 and held the position until May 2005. Mary then worked as the Accounting Manager at Baker Hughes from June 2005 to April 2007.

Throughout their career, Mary has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, specializing in accounting and IT. Mary has led numerous system conversions and has a strong commitment to project success.

Mary Young attended Villanova University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. After a gap in their education, they enrolled at the University of Houston-Victoria from 2002 to 2005 and obtained their MBA degree in Management. Additionally, Mary Young has passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams for Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) as well as Auditing (AUD).
