Sarah Bennett

Data Analyst at Wellbe

Sarah Bennett has worked in a variety of positions since 2008. Sarah began their career as a President of the International Folkdance Club and a Work Scholar Team Leader for the Door County Folk Festival. In 2009, they became a Cartographer for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Cartography Lab. In 2010, Sarah began working as a Teaching Assistant for the UW-Madison Geography Department. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Doctoral Researcher for the Geography Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During this time, they also worked as an English as a Second Language Teacher for Globus International. From 2018 to 2021, Sarah worked as a Technical Editor and Voice Actor for ActiveBusinessConsult / VS Robotics, and currently works as a Data Analyst for Wellbe Inc.

Sarah Bennett has a long history of education. Sarah obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Russian Language and a self-designed major in Linguistics from Beloit College in 2005. Sarah then went on to obtain their Masters of Science in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. Her most recent degree is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Geography and Visualization from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained in 2017. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has also obtained two certifications: a PSM 1 Scrum Master Certification from Scrum.org in 2020, and LGBT Campus Climate Training and Instructor Best Practices from the UW - Madison TAA Diversity Committee in 2014.
