Rick Johannessen

Rick Johannessen is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the executive search, investment management, and alternative investment sectors. Currently serving as Co-Chief Executive Officer at Wellesley since 2011, Rick leads a team that operates in multiple international markets, providing services in executive search, interim management, and leadership advisory. With a strong background in alternative investments, Rick has held senior roles including Managing Partner and Head of Alternative Investments, focusing on strategic hires for hedge funds and private equity across the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, Rick serves as a Mentor at Orbit Startups and an Advisor at GetLinks. Previous experience includes Managing Director at Glocap and Co-Founder at Brasch Partners. Rick holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from American University and has studied at both The American School in Japan and Hong Kong International School.
