Udit Narula

Udit Narula's work experience begins in 2014 as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, where they conducted data acquisition and analysis of mouse brain cells. Udit utilized SAS, MATLAB, R, and Micro Electrode Arrays for the project, focusing on the isolation of action potentials from single neurons and conducting graphical and statistical analysis of data.

In 2016, Udit joined Pacific Dental Services as an Innovation Intern, where they worked with data tools such as MS SQL and DOMO to extract, transform, analyze, and visualize data. Udit also authored unit tests for multiple C# applications.

Following this, Udit became an Associate Software Engineer at Pacific Dental Services, starting in June 2016. In this role, they developed and enhanced back and front-end features in the core application using C# and AngularJS. Udit applied linear regression, classification, and clustering models to create predictive functionality and performed various tasks such as data analysis, mapping, migration, validation, and identifying data inconsistencies.

Udit continued their journey at Pacific Dental Services as a Software Engineer in October 2018. In this role, they led back-end development for refactoring legacy code to optimize payment processing for a large number of active plan users. Udit collaborated with SMEs and functional leads to define and create new product designs and worked closely with senior engineers to design and implement financial software for facilitating payments.

Most recently, Udit joined Wellfit as a Senior Software Engineer in April 2019, although the end date for this role is not provided.

Udit Narula has a strong educational background in the field of Biomedical Engineering. Udit obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Biotechnology Engineering from Panjab University, studying from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Udit has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In June 2018, they obtained the Microsoft Professional Program Certificate in Data Science from edX. In October 2015, they earned the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 certification from SAS. Most recently, in June 2021, Udit obtained the Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google.
