Peter’s learning apps have won all major learning-industry awards, including highest honors from the American Society for Training & Development, John Muir Medical Film Festival’s Gold Medal in Patient Education, the American Medical Writers Association Film & Video Festival First Prize, International Society for Performance Improvement, Tellys, Cindys, and a Grammy nomination for Spoken Word Educational Series. He was named among the nation’s “Top 100 Producers” by Video & Multimedia Producer magazine.

Peter has written, directed, and/or produced several hundred films, videos, audio cassettes, and CDs. His produced Hollywood credits include prime-time network TV programs, and a feature film, and he was Story Editor / Scriptwriter for Steven Spielberg’s NBC-TV series, “Amazing Stories.” Peter directed “Diabetes: A Positive Approach,” which had a distribution run of 1,000,000+ VHS copies for Miles Labs/American Diabetes Association. He consults by request to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA.

Peter was a faculty member at Stanford University’s Mass Media Institute and a Fellow at the Stanford Hospital’s Center for Research in Disease Prevention where he created media for the federally-funded Five-City “Framingham” Heart Project. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University, an MEd from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and an AB cum laude from Princeton University.
