Amit Matani

Amit Matani has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Amit is currently the CEO of Wellfound (formerly AngelList Talent), a position they have held since September 2018. Prior to this, Amit worked at AngelList, where they held multiple roles. From September 2017 to September 2018, they served as the Head of Talent Products. Before that, they were involved in product and engineering from November 2013 to September 2017.

Amit's previous experience includes co-founding Flatiron Collective / Lookmark.com in 2012, where they built and launched a social news site. Amit has also worked as a Producer and iOS engineer at ngmoco from August 2009 to March 2011. Prior to ngmoco, Amit co-founded Miraphonic in 2009, where they built a successful casual MMORPG for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and Facebook. Miraphonic was acquired by ngmoco in the summer of 2009.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Amit worked as a Software Engineer at HOT or NOT from September 2006 to September 2008. Throughout their career, Amit has demonstrated expertise in talent management, product development, entrepreneurship, and engineering.

Amit Matani attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS).
