Rémi Gabillet

Rémi Gabillet has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering. Rémi is currently working as a Principal Data Engineer at Wellfound (formerly AngelList Talent) since 2021. Prior to this, Rémi worked at Envoy from 2018 to 2021, where they played a crucial role in building the Data Engineering function. Rémi focused on developing pipelines, database models, and event tracking systems to enhance data-driven decision-making. Before Envoy, Rémi worked at 8tracks from 2006 to 2020, initially as a Data Projects Consultant, then as a Co-founder and Advisor, and finally as the Co-founder, CTO, and Head of Product. At 8tracks, they led key projects and developed an in-house system for event tracking, experiments, and reporting. Rémi also worked at Sprig as an Engineering Manager in 2015, where they established effective team communication and implemented various projects to improve retention and data analysis. Prior to that, they worked at Google as a Software Engineer, Aardvark as a Senior Ruby Engineer, Affinity Labs as a Ruby Engineer, INgrooves as a Software Engineer, and Live365 as a Database Engineer.
