Brian Arnold has extensive experience in software engineering, management, and product development. Brian has worked in various companies and roles throughout their career. Brian's recent experience includes working as the Director of Mobile Engineering at Wellframe, where they built a successful mobile app development team and provided strategic guidance for process improvement. Prior to that, they owned Flat Earth Studio LLC, where they designed, licensed, and maintained lifestyle mobile apps for iOS, earning recognition from the App Store. Brian also served as a Software Engineering Manager at MathWorks, where they built and managed a team, promoted platform technologies, and coached developers. Brian worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Media 100, where they led the development of video editing systems, and as a Senior Software Architect at Videonics. Brian's career started at Apple Inc, where they worked as a Frameworks Engineer and contributed to the development of C++ frameworks for Mac OS. Brian also co-founded Lumina Decision Systems and served as the Director of Software Development, leading the development and commercialization of the Analytica software product. Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated strong technical and leadership skills, resulting in successful product releases and recognition.
Brian Arnold attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In October 2018, they also obtained a certification in Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace from Coursera.
