Simon Parsons

Simon Parsons is a Principal Project Management Consultant at Wellingtone since August 2025, focusing on enhancing project, program, and portfolio delivery for clients through PMO development and delivery capability. Concurrently, Simon serves as the 2IC of 160 Coy 101 Bn REME with the British Army since May 2023. Previously, Simon held the role of Managing Consultant at Frazer-Nash Consultancy from August 2023 to August 2025 and managed similar responsibilities at VIMA Group from September 2022 to August 2023, specializing in digital transformation. Simon’s extensive background includes over a decade at the UK Ministry of Defence, with notable positions such as Executive Leader of the Aviation Engineering Training School and Senior Quality Assurance Manager, achieving significant improvements and recognition within military aviation engineering. Simon began an engineering career in the British Army in 1997, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
