Jessica Weddle

Jessica Weddle is a seasoned psychiatrist currently serving as a Correctional Psychiatrist at Wellpath since May 2025. Prior experience includes significant leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from October 2015 to May 2025, where responsibilities encompassed Psychiatry Section Chief and Director of the Cerner Mitigation Team among other titles. Jessica also held positions at the Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights and the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, where leadership involved overseeing emergency psychiatric services. Earlier roles include serving as Interim Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Cook County Health and Hospitals System and a psychiatrist at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and in private practice. Jessica's education includes a Psychiatry Residency from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an MD from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, and a BS in mathematics from the University of Kentucky.
