Allison Mitchell

Allison Mitchell, MSW, APSW, is a justice-driven social worker specializing in trauma-focused care for youth and families. Currently a Clinical Therapist & Trainer at Wellpoint Care Network, Allison provides evidence-based clinical treatment in community settings and trains local organizations in the Trauma Sensitive Schools model. With over seven years of experience in education, youth development, and social work, they have previously served as a Children's Advocate at Sojourner Family Peace Center and worked in rural education development with the Peace Corps. Allison holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
