Senior Software Engineer at Wellsheet

Herbert Freyre has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and data analysis. Herbert is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Wellsheet since June 2019. Prior to that, from July 2015 to June 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Pivotal Labs.

In 2014, they worked at Omega Point Research as a Software Developer & Data Analyst. During their tenure, they developed a data assurance system, created reports of market returns, and collaborated on implementing cluster data analytics tools.

In the same year, Herbert also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Decision Mapper. Herbert developed a front-end application for indexing research and contributed to the development of real-time web applications using the MVC framework DerbyJS. Herbert also produced data-driven applications implementing visualization libraries.

Before transitioning to the software engineering field, they gained administrative experience as an Administrative Assistant at the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy from February 2013 to December 2013. In this role, they compiled and updated program funds and grant information, synthesized research, and aided in departmental administration.

Herbert also has experience as an International Business Development Intern at Longtan Lake Sports Park Investment & Development. During this internship, they compiled market research, created campaigns, and connected with industry experts and representatives for potential partnerships.

In 2012, they worked as an Assistant at The School at Columbia University. In this role, they led the optimization of library records, aided visitors in using the library's resources, and simplified the library collection for better accessibility.

Herbert Freyre attended Columbia University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Herbert majored in Economics-Mathematics and Computer Science during their time there.
