Johnny Serrano

Johnny Serrano has extensive work experience in various roles within the software engineering field. Johnny started their career in 2001 as a Computer Technician at Hi-Tech Computers, where they built, upgraded, and repaired computers. Johnny then served as a Lead Technician and Systems Administrator, managing servers and networks for multiple businesses.

In 2004, Johnny worked as an IT Consultant and Field Technician at PC Doctors, troubleshooting and repairing computers and networks. Johnny also provided IT solutions and installed remote backup solutions.

From 2005 to 2009, Johnny had roles at Quest Software and Biometric Access Company as a Software Developer. Johnny ported applications to different programming languages, designed and implemented plug-in systems, and maintained applications.

Johnny joined vAuto as a Software/Web Developer in 2009. Johnny implemented and maintained projects using various technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.

From 2010 to 2013, Johnny worked at e-MDs as a Software Engineer/Technical Lead. Johnny led a team of developers and designed and implemented low-level processes.

Johnny then joined SpeakWrite in 2013 as a Software Architect, where they converted high-level ideas into technical plans using multiple technologies, including C#, MVC, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.

Since 2018, Johnny has been working at WellSky, starting as a Principal Software Engineer and progressing to the role of Enterprise Platform Data Strategy Technical Lead/Sr. Staff Engineer. Johnny has also served as the Enterprise Clinical Domain Lead/Sr. Staff Engineer and Staff Software Engineer/Team Lead/Technical Lead.

Throughout their career, Johnny has demonstrated their expertise in various technologies and leadership positions.

Johnny Serrano completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems at Louisiana Tech University in 2003.
