Effie Murphy

Effie Murphy is an experienced professional in caregiving support, with a focus on dementia-related challenges. Currently serving as Care Adviser Specialist II at Wellthy since November 2020, Effie develops educational programs, researches long-term care options, and creates personalized plans for families affected by dementia. Previous roles include Consultant at Dementia Friendly New Jersey and Program Coordinator at the Alzheimer's Association®, where Effie raised awareness about Alzheimer's Disease and transitioned programs online during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Effie's early experience includes volunteer coordination and communication roles at St. Joan of Arc and St. Mary of the Lakes Church, along with a background in sales and accounts receivable. Effie holds a Master's Degree in Theology from La Salle University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University-Camden.
