Readus Smith is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Eastern Regional President for Wellvana Health, overseeing operations in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina, Readus focuses on enhancing patient care and fostering relationships in the managed care industry. In addition, as an Advisor to the Chairman of the Board and Senior Executive Vice President at Island Doctors, Readus is responsible for business development and strategic operations, championing initiatives geared towards seniors' health. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Vice President at Patriot Healthcare Systems and holding various leadership positions related to strategy and development. Readus holds a degree in Health Law and Policy from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and a bachelor's degree from The University of Memphis.
