Ellen Hamilton

Ellen Hamilton is an experienced professional in peer work and community education, currently serving as the Peer Work Coordinator for Wellways Australia since December 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating Peer Hubs for Peer Work Students in Victoria. Previous roles include Wellbeing Peer Navigator, Acting Peer Cadet Coordinator, and PARC Peer Worker, focusing on mentorship and community practice facilitation. Ellen has also contributed as a Peer Project Worker, organizing educational groups and facilitating talks at the DAX Centre, and has experience supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals through various programs, notably as an Out Together Peer Support Worker. Additional experience includes mentoring with Queerspace and various administrative and facilitation roles at La Trobe University. Ellen holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work.
